Decorating with children makes the holidays even more sweet. I had a blast decorating with Scarlett and Claire (my friend Erin’s daughters). They were natural decorators as they watch a lot of baking and decorating classes on Youtube.
You will see in all the cupcake designs that they require dipping the cupcakes in frosting. But to get the glossy and smooth look, you need to microwave the frosting for about 15 seconds to soften. This allows for a frosted cupcake with a flat surface.
Have fun making these cupcakes. Let me know your favorites. I have to say the polar bear I designed turned out so cute. I love it.
