It’s always a sweet day when I get to bake with my sister Laura. Today she shows me and you how to make her delicious and moist chocolate chip scones. She only uses one bowl to mix which makes things even simpler!

Chocolate Chip Scone Recipe:
2 Cups Flour (Gluten-free flour if keeping gluten-free)
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup Crisco shortening (you can substitute butter)
1/2 Cup milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
In one bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt together. Using a pastry blender, blend crisco to pea-size balls. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix well. Add Chocolate chips.
Place on greased pan or parchment paper cookie sheet.
Bake 18-20 minutes.
