This recipe is super moist and packed with chocolate flavor.
The trick to these moist cupcakes is the oil and brown sugar with the tang of buttermilk.
Tip: If you do not have buttermilk, just add a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk and let sit for 15 minutes.
Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups flour
- 3/4 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk or milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or coconut oil
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot water

- How to Make:Preheat oven 350 degrees1. In a large bowl, add sugar.2. Add brown sugar and stir.3. Add flour and mix.4. Add cocoa and mix. 5. Add baking powder and baking soda and mix.6. Add salt and mix.7. In another bowl, add eggs.8. Add milk and stir.9. Add oil and mix.10. Add vanilla and mix.11. Add hot water and mix. 12. Add liquid into flour mixture. Mix.13. Pour batter in cupcake liners.14. Bake 15 – 20 minutes
