The best part of Christmas is watching the wonder with children. As a preschool owner, I see the magic when a child discovers something new, especially if it is hands-on.
This is the same with baking and decorating with children. And it’s even more special during the holidays.
Making baked goods for others is one of the best gifts you can give during the holidays.
Jayla and I have some beautiful and fun cupcakes to share with you.
We have seven cupcake designs to show you. They are easy to make and your kids will have fun making them with you.
- Rudolph & Reindeers
- O’ Christmas Tree
- Best Friends
- It’s a Minnie Christmas
- The North Pole
- Cute Snowman
- The Grinch
Rudolph and his Reindeer Friends
Watch Jayla and I showing how easy it is to make Rudolph and his reindeer friends. We used home-made chocolate antlers by melting some chocolate and piping on parchment paper. But, you can use pretzel pieces or chocolate dipped pretzels. All work great. Have fun!
Create an adorable Christmas Tree using an ice cream cone, frosting, mini candies, and Starburst candy for the presents.
Everyone loves a cute snowman. Create these adorable snowmen using two cupcakes you merge with spaghetti. Then decorate with ingredients you get at your local grocery store. Super fun!
Although we have never been to the North Pole, we can imagine how beautiful it would be. Create this adorable North Pole cupcake – perfect with our other snowman cupcakes.
How simple are these? Just red frosting (see our buttercream recipes), edible pearls and mini Oreo cookies.
Want to tell your best friend how much you care about them? Make these snowman friends cupcakes. Using marshmallows and ingredients from your local grocery store, you will have fun making these edible gifts.
Our Grinch cupcake was a last minute idea. We took a green cupcake (added green food coloring to yellow cake batter). Then we used same #21 tips that we made the Minnie Mouse hat and created a hat for the Grinch. Then yellow mini M & M’s for the eyes and black food gel. So cute and fun.
We hope you had fun seeing all you can create with kids. It was such a fun day decorating with Jayla.
Jill
