Celebrate Easter with cupcakes!! I love how easy these cupcakes are to make. The first one is made with green frosting using a fork to make the grass. I found the mini ice cream cones at my local Target store, but you can get at Amazon link below. I have also seen these mini cones at Souplantation. I just asked the manager if I could pay for 2 dozen and he said, “You can have them!” (Score!!) The second cupcake I used colored twists and toothpicts to hold them in the cupcake. Then you just need some jelly beans! So easy and so cuter.

Make instant Easter basket cupcakes just in time for your spring gathering.
You will Need:
Buttercream (see recipe below)
Mint green color gel
Gummy worms for handle
Twizzler or licorice for handle
Easy Buttercream Decorator’s Frosting
1 cup softened butter
1 cup shortening (Crisco or Great Value Walmart brand are good)
6 – 7 cups of sifted powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons milk or whipping cream
1-2 teaspoons clear extract or flavored syrups (I use many but mostly like pure almond)
Beat butter until light and fluffy. Addd shortening until well blended. Slowly add one-half cup of powdered sugar at a time until you get the consistency you like. Add milk and extracts if needed. Beat well until smooth.
Can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.
