I love wonton soup in Chinese restaurants. I figured it would be easy to re-create it without a recipe. So I did. I bought the frozen Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons at Trader Joes (any frozen wontons will do), chicken broth, mini carrots and cut up cooked chicken (from the night before’s dinner).
I added all the ingredients into a crock pot or in a pan on low heat and set it on high for 2 hours. So simple and so delicious. A perfect full meal on a cold night.
You can add more veggies, pork, tofu, steak etc. to alter the recipe.
