I am not a big fan of store bought fondant, especially the expense.
Over the years I have tweeked this recipe to make as easy as possible.
I have it down to a science of making the perfect batch of fondant for you.
The SECRET to the recipe: Do not mix all the melted marshmallow into the sugar at once. You need to slowly toss the sugar into the marshmallow until you get the consistency you want.

Sometimes you just need a small batch of fondant, and don’t want to make or buy a large batch. Here I show you my go-to recipe and tricks to make homemade fondant.
Recipe for Large Batch of Fondant (will cover an 8-inch cake)YOU NEED:
2 lbs. Powdered sugar
1 16 oz. bag of mini Marshmallows
2 Tablespoons water
1 teaspoon clear extract (almond)
Food color gel (optional)
