
Baking bread is the new thing!
Some call it stress baking which I can relate!!
I think during this Covid-19 we are all longing for comfort food. You know, when you go to a restaurant to relax and they serve you a basket of bread first.
We all love it! BUT, with this new found love for baking – finding yeast has become difficult.
Yeast is definitely a wonderful ingredient, especially for making luscious loaves of bread (especially right out of the oven slathered in butter).
Yet, yeast is not the only leavening agent used in baking.
