You know I love using a cake mix when needing a quick dessert.
This is how it came in handy. I was asked to make a dessert for my Women’s Chorus practice. But, the message came two hours before practice. One of the ladies was not able to bring her treat and asked it I could make one. I guess it is the hazard (or blessing) of being known as a baker.
I already had all the ingredients, except the milk. I substituted the milk with almond milk which turned out fine.
I always keep a can of pumpkin puree as it has so many uses (I add to my morning smoothies too!).
Cake Tip: Before adding the entire cake mix into the bowl, save some for dusting the pan with butter.
Make simple caramel sauce topping. Heat Caramel frosting in microwave for 15-30 seconds to slightly melt. Then pour over cake.
