You Need:
1 Cup butter (softened)
1 Cup granulated or fine sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pure almond extract
3 1/2 Cups Flour
Cream butter and sugar together until well beaten. Add the egg and extracts. Slowly add the flour until you get the consistency you want.
Refrigerate dough for at least 4 hours. When ready to cut out shapes, let dough thaw for 10 minutes. Roll dough on a floured surface. Cut shapes to 1/4 inch height.
Bake on baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake at preheated oven 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
