As I have traveled this life, I have found the more focused I am in living righteous – my road becomes very narrow.
It is as if God is narrowing my view so that I not lose direction and will be guided with a great sense of direction (which I had not before).
What is righteous living? It is NOT a set of rules but choosing what you KNOW is right.
We all know right from wrong. If you stand in the middle of the street you will eventually get run over. It is usually “our way” or “God’s way” that we must choose on a daily basis. Yes, my ego, pride and control hinder this path.
Yet, when I put those selfish desires or things I feel I must do to control my environment – thus the road becomes more clear.
When walking this narrow road I see great opportunities I would never have see before. My mission becomes more clear. I thrive on seeking my purpose and not let my past mistakes hinder my goals. It’s a wonderful thing.
I encourage you to ponder your path. Is there anything that is hindering your walk? Let these things go and begin to see things you have never seen before.
